School Talks

Raising Teenage Boys

Pathways WA can present talks on 'Raising Teenage Boys' to schools, service organisations etc. This talk provides some very helpful information on the subject and also gives an overview of the Pathways to Manhood programme. To enquire about these presentations send an email to the regional coordinator:  perthwa@pathwaysfoundation.com.au

A major component of the talk focuses on solutions, and preventative models that empower young men to reach their full potential, as well as providing parents with valuable tools that they can implement to help their sons transition into adulthood. The talks are directed at parents of boys between the ages of 11 and 16, but information provided in the talk is relevant to the wider community. Please note that this talk is not for the boys themselves to attend.

The talks aim to raise community awareness and encourage open dialogue on issues affecting young men. The Pathways Foundation will also discuss the award winning Pathways to Manhood Program and provide parents with a question and answer time. Boys currently in Years 8 and 9 will have an opportunity to be involved in the Pathways to Manhood Program in 2010.

The presentation is free of charge.
